Rules

Click on the following link to access the ALWSC Rules and Regulations for use of the slalom course.  These rules are based on ALWSC application to ALA for a permit to have a Slalom Course in our lake.  

All members, using the slalom course should read and be familiar with these rules.


All members using the slalom course are required to complete the Slalolm Course Practice Log. Please return to Jim Wissing via US mail

Aurora Lake Required Safety Equipment


- Duty of Owner to Provide Equipment
- ALA Boating Sticker(s)
- Life Jackets (PFDs) - One per person
- One Throwable PFD (Cussion)
- Anchor with line
- FireExtinguisher
- Distress Signal (3 unexpired Flares, One Flag)
- One orange Flag for fallen waterskiers
- Ventilation (Blower of Inboards and Inboard/Outboard Engines
- Sound Signals (Horn)
- Lights: Bow (red/green); Stern (white)
- Paddle or Hook.
