To keep rewards fair, we qualify skiers' accomplishments by having the skier ski behind a boat with perfect pass, to ensure boat speed accuracy. The "rule of thumb", is 15 off up to 32 mph is based on the honor system. Simply email support@alwsc.com and your records will be updated. For 32 mph and up, or 22 off or more, qualification will be done on a boat with Perfect Pass, and the results in. It's a good idea to schedule your time with Jim, as he can video your new personal best.
The rewards are:
- Bragging rights (as they are free and most obvious).
- Posting on the web site.
- Colored Chamois (to dry off with to keep the boat dry and save wet towels), for the color rope you will be working toward. We haven't found an orange one, so we use red, yellow, green, blue, and that's as far as we have gotten so far.
- Digital Photo (please send a photo of skier and ski), and Video proof of the event if you work with Jim.
- Entry into the "End of Year Awards", including Best Skier, Most Consistent, Most Improved, and whatever we can embarrass you with. We need help with this party, please contact JimW.
